We’re working directly with the implementation client (EIQ) and looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric & Purview Architect to lead platform architecture, governance, and data modeling initiatives.
This role is ideal for senior contractors who have designed and implemented enterprise-scale lakehouse and governance solutions and want hands-on architectural ownership.
🔑 What You’ll Do
✔️ Design end-to-end Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture (OneLake, Medallion layers – Bronze/Silver/Gold)
✔️ Define enterprise ingestion frameworks (batch & near real-time) across multi-regional data sources
✔️ Establish semantic & data modeling standards (star schemas, conformed dimensions, Gold models)
✔️ Architect security & governance using Microsoft Purview (RBAC, Zero Trust, CEI/CUI boundaries)
✔️ Implement reusable ingestion pipelines with logging, error handling & scalability
✔️ Lead Purview cataloging, lineage, classifications & policy enforcement
✔️ Partner with BAs to deliver V1 semantic models for priority business domains
✔️ Define reconciliation & data quality rules for cross-source and cross-region consistency
