metatranscriptome issue

Dear sir/madam,

Our research group is planning to do some metatranscriptome analyses using anvi'o. But we can't find any potocol of metatranscriptome analysis. I wonder if  it is the same step of metagenome analysis or there is another potocol  applying to metatranscriptome specially or combining with metagenome.
