Dear Kalaine,

Greetings from IRRI!

We will need the following:

1) For the Brent students that will be invited, can you please send us your letter of invitation to Brent (scanned copy will do) so that we can forward it to their administrator.
We may not provide them with exact details like the program but we need to inform them ahead about the date.
I suggest that we start at 10AM (instead of 9AM) since the SINOP Christmas Bazaar will also open at 9:00 AM.
What do you think?

2)  For the "Lugaw buffet", the coffee shop don't usually serve lugaw. They serve coffee, pasta, sandwich, cookies.
I'll check with the concessionaire if this is possible and if they can accommodate 100 pax, with the physical arrangement
that you have mentioned, taking into consideration the duration, and the snacks that will be served. The budget is P5000 for 100 pax, right?

By the way, what' s your Manila direct line?

Let's discuss further.

Thanks and regards,
Gigi

Dear Ms. Gigi,

Thank you for your reply. I don't have the proposed program yet. However, we usually have these included in our program: Welcome Remarks, Author’s Response, Presentation of Copies to Sponsors, and Book  Signing and Cocktails. I hope this can help.

Regards,
Kalaine

Dear Ms. Kalaine,

Thanks for your email.
I am on official trip when Ms. Gwenn and Ms. Norma have visited IRRI last week but I've heard exciting ideas
about the proposed book launch.

I'll get back to you regarding the catering details but for now can you send me the proposed program
for the launch if you have it now?

Best regards,
Gigi

Dear Ms. Caballero,

I am Kalaine Grafil from Anvil Publishing Inc. I am in charge of the book launches in Anvil. And, I would just like to ask you about some details for the book launch of the Rice book, written by former food magazine editor Norma Chikiamco. This will be at the IRRI Garden on November 19, 9 a.m. I have been informed by Ms. Ria Dimapilis that you are the person in charge of the launch venue.

In connection with the launch, I would like to inform you that our budget for the snacks is P5,000 and we plan to have a lugaw buffet for the guests. I was also informed by Ma'am Gwenn Galvez that you will connect us with your coffee shop for the catering of the launch. May I ask the details on this one?

Thank you.

Regards,
Kalaine

Best,
