Dear all,

It gives me great pleasure and a hint of sadness to make this last post to this site.  And to us, if not to anybody else, this magnificent journey of Spirit.

So at this stage, wish you all the best.

much love and gratitude

There is only one solution if old age is not to be an absurd parody of our former life, and that is to go on pursuing ends that give our existence a meaning – devotion to individuals, to groups or to causes, social, political, intellectual or creative work … in old age we should wish still to have passions strong enough to prevent us turning in on ourselves. One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, compassion. - Simone de Beauvoir

Correction: In slide 4, both the heading and the first line say 'the last four chapters" -- that should read "the last four paragraphs".  Though, Hegel's paragraphs are usually richer than some chapters in other books I have seen!

Looking forward to seeing you all later today (and tomorrow).
