$536 raised and ongoing effort to hit the target of $1000

[Nirvana Events]

MINA 2009 winners Indira Rokka and Sunita Limbu successfully hosted
lunch to raise funds for gold week in association with Samsara Kanchi
club and supported by Nirvana Groups on the 6th of June 2009.

Total of $536 was raised for Sydney Children Hospital.They are
continuing their funds raising initiation via online means to hit the
mark of $1000 .Donations starting from $5 and above can be made by

The host restaurant Yak & Yeti at 41 Glebe Pt Road,Glebe,Sydney
happily accomodated the last moment need to extend it to dinner ,for
which Dr Narayan Pradhan and Ms Leela Pradhan deserves round of
applause. THANK YOU!

The event was extended due to the high interest from altruistic
individuals who wanted to make a difference in their community.The
luncheon started at 12:30pm and the dinner was served at 7:30pm.

The guests were entertained with game of bingo and the funds raised
from it was consolidated to donation pool.On the crisp sunny day of
Sydney, tourists & locals strolling the streets and markets of Glebe
joined in to show their support and commend the work done by MINA
winners.
