To use Extreme PBR 2.0 addon for Blender 2.8, you need to have a mesh object selected in Object Mode. Then, you can access the addon panel by pressing N on your keyboard and going to the Extreme PBR Combo tab.
The addon panel has four sections: Materials, UV Mapping, Shader Maker, and Videomaker.
The Materials section is where you can browse and apply the materials from the libraries. You can filter the materials by category (such as Metal, Wood, Stone, etc.), or by name using the search bar. You can also create your own categories by clicking on the + button next to Category.
To apply a material to your object, simply click on the thumbnail of the material. You can also preview the material by hovering over it with your mouse cursor. The material will be applied to your object using a Principled BSDF shader node with all the maps (such as Diffuse, Normal, Roughness, Metallic, Specular, and Displacement) connected automatically.
You can adjust some parameters of the material using the sliders below the thumbnails, such as Scale, Rotation, Offset, Strength, and Mix Factor. You can also enable or disable some maps using the checkboxes below them.
The UV Mapping section is where you can control the rotation, scale, and position of the UV mapping of your object directly from the panel. You can use this section to fine-tune how your material looks on your object without going into Edit Mode or UV Editing Mode.
You can adjust some parameters of the UV mapping using the sliders below them, such as U Scale, V Scale, U Rotation, V Rotation, U Offset, and V Offset
