Hi,

I'm using AWP on a Mac.  I analyse a set of files as a batch and the results pane shows a result for each file.  However, when I save the results, the saved file includes only the results for one of the files.  Any idea how I can save results for all?

thank you,
David

Hi,

Have you tried simply copying and pasting the results in the results pane?

Laurence.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I haven't tried that but I have done it before and I'm sure it would work.  The thing is that I have about 100 shortish texts (student compositions) which I need to analyse separately, so I was hoping to save them all at once.  But if I need to copy-paste each one, I'll do that.

thanks,
David

AWP already has a batch process option so you can do an analysis on all texts at once. It just doesn't have an option to save the results to a file. It will show them all in the results window.

Have a look and you'll see what I mean.

Test it out with two tiny files so you don't get overwhelmed by the number of results being produced.

Laurence.

Thanks, I see what you mean.  So I'll use the batch process and copy the results individually into Excel.

Thank you,
David

You should be able to copy all the results into Excel in one go.

True, and then edit them there (i.e. cut out unneeded headers, file info, etc); I'll try that, thanks.
