Hi everyone,

For Output Settings if you tick the box for Include words in the level list(s) but not in the user file(s) it shows you all types not in target files for each level (Level 1, 2 etc).

Is there a way to show output for the groups (families) in level list(s) but not in user file(s)? In other words, I would like to know all of the word families not in target files for each level (Level 1, 2 etc).

Thanks,

Rick

Hi,

AntWordProfiler doesn't work like this. But, I could certainly add the function. Do you want the "level x groups not in user files" for each file separately or all the files combined or both?

Laurence.

Hi Laurence,

Thanks for the quick response.

<Do you want the "level x groups not in user files" for each file separately or all the files combined or both?>

Perhaps both would be most useful, if that isn't too much trouble.

Cheers,

Rick

Hi Laurence,

Is it possible to do this now with version 2.0.1?

Rick

Hi Rick,

Great question. I think it's not there (still)! But, now with the completely new setup and with the program written in Python, this would be much easier to implement.

Let me think about it.

If you have other ideas for changes, it would be good to list them up. Then, I can think of working on them all at the same time. In fact, this goes for anybody else in the discussion group, too.

Laurence.

Hi Laurence,

Thanks for the quick reply and for considering this addition. No other requests at this time.

Thank you once again for the new and improved versions of all of the wonderful tools on your website.

Hi Laurence,

I have one idea.  Would it be possible to have the "hide tags" feature available when a file is opened as a 'quick corpus'?  Or is that feature only possible in a corpus database?

Really enjoying the new version.  Thanks so much for the excellent upgrade.

Take care,
Dax

Hi again Laurence,

Apologies.  That suggestion was meant for the Antconc discussion group.

Take care,
Dax
