Dear Michal and Setha,

I am writing to ask for your help.  As you are aware, we are in the process of launching Antropólogos sem Fronteiras (ASF).  One thing in particular we are working toward is the creation of a pool of Volunteer Experts who can be called on to assist with projects as they are submitted.  I am sending the attached flyer and request that you send this out to the WCAA membership, encouraging the anthropological associations who are a part of WCAA to forward the flyer to their members, asking them to sign up as Volunteer Experts.  The sign up process is simple.  The ASF website, which can be found atwww.antropolog...@wordpress.com, has a tab titled “Volunteering” that contains a brief form that can be completed in 5-10 minutes and submitted online. 

 

We are also looking for projects.  If any of the members of the associations have projects that may be of interest to ASF we would encourage them to submit proposals.  As with the volunteer form, there is a tab on the ASF website that can be used to submit a project proposal online.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding this request or the sign-up process to become a Volunteer Expert or submit a project proposal.  We appreciate your help in transforming ASF into an active and vital organization.
