The SolarSystem features the latest generation high efficiency LEDs as well as the most versatile control system on the market. This commercial indoor LED lighting system is perfect for a single light in a tent or several hundred lights in a large commercial operation.

Overcoming the limitations of high-intensity discharge lighting systems, the SolarSystem 550 LED grow light system offers programmable spectrum control over multiple wavelengths. It operates at a frequency of 50-60 Hz and draws a maximum current of 3.3A @ 120 V, 1.65 A @ 240 V. Power consumption ranges from 0-400 W, which is exceptional compared to traditional UVB grow lights.

In fact, our full spectrum horticulture LED lights are some of the most durable, energy-efficient commercial LED grow lights on the market. Plus, this grow light system provides uniform lighting over a maximum bloom coverage area of 4 x 4 feet, and a vegetative coverage zone of 6 x 6 feet. I unboxed the SX500, plugged it in, let it run nonstop for 6 weeks. I never really got to touch, feel [tactilely take in...] the industrial design and build of this family of product... is so impressive to look at, hold. (my) gushing over a light... shaking my head. I spent a day enjoying, wrapping my mind around the SS550 + ctrl = It was so straight forward to program, set up and use. I read the comments section beforehand and picked up many good points, thanks to everyone here. I am running the SS550 at reduced power letting my ladies acclimate to new / different light source. This light is everything I had hoped for and more. Glad I got the controller too, it's really a must have to get the most out of this light. Outstanding performance for my plants and I'm only two weeks into the grow cycle. Can't wait to see how she performs during flowering. I have been growing auto flowers for years outside. Starting growing indoors and struggled with many lights until now. This light and controller are hands down the best. Auto's exploded with this combo. On my fourth run and still killing it. Will never buy another brand again.

I have Been using California lightworks for years now. I have the solorxtreme models as well. Both are built to the highest standards. I can honestly say I haven't had any issues thus far with Any of them. I definitely recommend the controller with it.you can set on off time, seasons, light intensity and spectrum control for flower as well as vegg. The instructions were very clear and easy and I set it up within 30 minutes. Just a awesome light manufacturer!!!!

Got the 550 for our 7x7 Sturdi-Built Trillium Greenhouse on the recommendation of the folks at Sturdi-Built. I needed to move the centrer cross beam (very easy to do) and add a second one so the light is now suspended in the center of the greenhouse without being too close to any wood (which could block light and get damaged by heat over time). This light throws off a lot of light and we are putting the seedlings in this week. Wish us luck! Impressed by the build quality of the light thus far.

I got my SolarSystem 550 and Controller, just at the start of flowering stage, on my first plant. An autoflower, Norther Lite. I watched some Youtube videos California Lightworks put out on how to program and use the controller. I was running a flowering program and setting up a calendar to run a finishing program in no time at all. The plant took off right away. Looking very good!!! Lots of nice white hairy buds!! Great product!!
