Book Language Implementation Patterns

Does the book "Language Implementation Patterns" is based in Antlr 3 or the newer Antlr 4?

Hello,

the language implementation patterns book is a more generic learning material which refers to antlr only in a few chapters. Afair it uses antlr3 in those parts.

I recommend reading both the lang. impl. book and the antlr4 book.

One of these days I hope to expand that book to include garbage collection and also to updated to ANTLR 4
