apache pig migration antlr3 to antlr4

all - noob antlr question here.

i am currently writing an interpreter for apache pig (here), objective is to translate the pig one-line commands to spark. have tried a couple of tk's (pig-on-spark, piglet) but not happy with either of them, and t/f have decided to upgrade the pig antlr3 lexer/parser to antlr4, and then write a simple shell to operate.

first question - re changes to the lexer/parser for the antlr4 upgrade, is this the correct forum? would you prefer that i open a stackoverflow issue with antlr tag?
