Aaron Forbort, one of our new property owners next to the Bissonnettes, expressed an interest in creating a Facebook page for the association. This would not be a means of official communication, more of a social group.

I have thought about this for a while myself. Also about building a webpage. Not sure we are ready for a webpage but the Facebook page might be a good way to dip our toes in to social media arena.

One concern I have is if important info is shared there is making sure it is shared in another manner that (yahoo groups/member mailing) will reach our other members.

What do you think?

Hmmmm, lots of justified paranoia regarding a Facebook page. I'm okay with it, but wonder if it will confuse the group in terms of which place to receive important info, and which to read for fun. Me, I"M not confused--JK, totally.

I think we need to be very clear it is just for fun and administer it as such.
