Chronika is the interdisciplinary graduate student journal of the Institute
for European and Mediterranean Archaeology which promotes innovative
approaches to the study of archaeology in the Mediterranean world. Chronika
aims to publish student research in a timely fashion and make it widely
available to the scholarly community. To accomplish this, the journal uses
an open access platform that does not charge readers or their institutions
for access. This structure expands the visibility of the journal and
encourages lively, collaborative thinking among emerging scholars in an
