Linked Open Data and Cultural Heritage
Do you use LOD in your cultural heritage research? Would you like to learn more about how to work with LOD? Are you interested in discussing the value of LOD with other interested heritage and DH scholars and practitioners?
This workshop, with a mix of in-presence and remote participants, will hear about and share experiences and challenges around working with Linked Open Data in digital heritage projects. Some short presentations from current projects will get the conversation
started, followed by a group discussion to determine the areas of LOD and related technologies that participants are interested in workshopping in more depth (possibly including tools, querying, ontologies, data management, skills, resources and project decision
making). The workshop will wrap up with an invitation to help us plan future events and think about how your own projects could benefit from and participate in further workshops.
