Dear friend, I am writing you directly to ask if you would be able to
recommend to me any of your Masters students or contacts who would be
suitable for a 3-year AHRC-funded PhD on the Ukrainian Tripillia
mega-sites Project, starting October 2012 or sooner. The candidate
would need to have good remote sensing skills and have a good
understanding of archaeological settlement patterns. The deadline is
29th February 2012 and I attach full details. Please encourage them to
call me on 0191 378 0641 (Mondays, Thursdays, evenings) or e-mail me
if there are any questions about the Project research. This is a great
opportunity for an excellent student to do three years' funded
research.
Please could you display this advert in your institution and pass it
on to anyone who is suitably qualified.
Many thanks and best wishes. John Chapman
