Hi All,
I have release version 2.0 of webview, the bash and Python based method
to view local OFF files, and VRML/X3D online.
With the accommodation of a second viewing system for VRML via X_Ite,
the webview.py for viewing OFF files has been changed to offview.py.
Note in the examples, that X_Ite can display additional 3D formats such
as OBJ, STL, PLY, and GLTF. See Examples.
Verified to be working under Windows 11 using Cygwin as the bash shell,
Microsoft WSL 2 and Ubuntu 22.04, or native Ubuntu 22.04.
X_Ite can only display VRML 2.0/X3D, however, conversion to these
formats from VRML 1.0 is possible with vr1tovr2 installed. Conversion from
VRML 2.0 to X3D is also possible with tovrmlx3d of view3dscene. See
README.txt
For use between these three systems, no changes are needed in the
scripts unless you want to change default parameters such as the default
browser.
The zip file will be downloaded via a google drive accessed from the web
page.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
