July, the year is half over and boy has it been a big one! With 38
players in the championship ConVic this past weekend was a massive
blast, and you'll all have to forgive me for being late with this
mailer just so I could include a bit of a report. With a fantastic
venue, brilliant prizes, catering, and a great schedule I think it's
safe to say we have a tie for event of the year between ConVic and
Arcanacon. Arc still holds the most on numbers, so here's to an early
"Woo" to 2012 and what might happen.

Thanks to the guys at AUSCON a limited edition Dorothy model has been
mailed out to the highest donator at nearly every event in Australia.
If one hasn't come your way and should have, you may have received a

Rankings HQ is very excited to have recently launched Warmachine &
Hordes on its tournament rankings and social networking web site.
Rankings HQ is an international rankings business that tracks and
publishes rankings for gamers around the world. There are over 1,000
tournaments and 12,000 players in the database with almost 3000
registered users maintaining their profiles, personal blogs and
networks of gaming friends from over 40 countries.
Rankings HQ publish statistics on the imported tournaments including
Faction and Warcaster/Warlock rankings. A few tournaments have

data on the site providing a great tool for players to use to enhance

Stolen shamelessly from the announcement thread on WargamerAU, the
team at Irresistible Force have been working behind the scenes with
Hall of Heroes and Realm of Legends to put together a new series that
will build on the burgeoning Warmachine & Hordes scene in Australia
and provide a fantastic new tournament championship.
Tickets for events are available through the RankingsHQ website listed
above, with events in several states and possibly more to come. Forum
chatter seems heavy on the Super Series, it should be a real treat.
The second round of the series for the year has been announced, if you
haven't got a qualifying spot yet get in there now!

FINAL WORD
June was one long month this year, and July itself has a ton on the
cards. The rest of the year is looking a little quiet with only the
Adelaide Breast Cancer Brawl and MOAB on the horizon, but I'm sure
we'll see more events pop up in the next few weeks. Until then, enjoy
