to Antidote: free IEEE 11073 library stack
the xml output from "healthd --auto" does not contain the
model_number. There is model_number info in SystemModel defined in
asn1/phd_types.h. Can we make changes to the xml ouput to add in the
model_number info?

I think this information is obtained when you call RequestDeviceAttributes, via DeviceAttributes callback.
Run healthd in normal mode and then test_healthd.py with --mds parameter (depending the version you are testing). Latest git versions of test_healthd.py store XML data in files, with human-readable indentation.
