Yeah, I've never heard of a liberal arts university. Stanford is a university, but it's also not a liberal arts college. Harvard is liberal arts, and hence referred to as Harvard college. So maybe they are giving up on their ridiculous accreditation attempt, or maybe they're too stupid to realize this, or maybe they're trying to "cleverly" become an accredited "university," to bolster the image of their strength/security, which, they've done many simlarly awkward tactics in an effort to reinforce the illusion that they are something legitimate and long-enduring.
But for the record UVSC waited in line for a long time, and busted ass to become a University. But GWC, who can't even manage to become a college, who do they think they're fooling by touting their self-granted university status? Since when did one small building, half a house, and a bunch of empty land in the middle of nowhere constitute a University?
As usual, they find yet another way to gio beyond laughable.

Maybe I didn't notice this before, but the gwc website now says that
gwc is a University. Maybe they are so delusional that when UVSC
became a university, they thought that it meant that they should
become one as well. Does this have any bearing on the accreditation?
Can you really change the name and status of your institution while
you are under the accreditation process?
