Umm, how was the state of Utah involved exactly? They must be talking
about the Utah Department of Commerce approving Shanon Brooks's "doing
business as" (DBA) application on 3/26/2008 for the George Wythe
Foundation to do business as "George Wythe University". The foundation
also holds DBA status for George Wythe College (approved by the state
12/14/2006 -- registration made a little late is seems). That's got to
be what the press release is talking about -- I can't think of
anything else.
Incidentally, both GWC and GWU were registered by Shanon Brooks. But
the George Wythe Foundation was registered on 10/12/1999 by a Shannon
Brooke.
