Hope every one is doing well. As a research scholars representative i  have attended the Departmental committee meeting which was held on 24th Aug 2012. The committee members have requested all the Research scholars to send their details of their Publication, conference and seminar attended  in the Previous academic year. Thank u very much for the information. Below I am giving u my last academic year details,

Attended a National Seminar on Issues and Challenges in Tribal Areas (29-30 March, 2012) organized by Department of Anthropology, University of Hyderabad under UGC-SAP programme in collaboration with Anthropological Survey of India and presented a paper in the seminar entitled Knowledge and the World : The Lepchas of Sikkim-Darjeeling Himalaya.

Attended ICMR workshop on Biomedical Communication on August 4, 2012 at National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.

Seminars and Workshops

• Presented a paper entitled “Impact of Kalinganagar Industrial
Complex on livelihood and cultural pattern of the tribal communities
of Jajpur District, Orissa”, in an international seminar sponsored by
Planning Commission and organised by National Institute of Technology,
Rourkela, Orissa.

• Presented a paper entitled “Impact of Kalinganagar Industrial
Complex on livelihood and cultural pattern of the tribal communities
of Jajpur District, Orissa” in a national conference sponsored by
ICSSR, New Delhi organised by Council for Social Development,
Hyderabad.

• Attained and presented a paper entitled “The role of SHGs in the
empowerment of Women”, in two days workshop sponsored by ICSSR and
organised by Council for Social Development, Hyderabad.

• Presented a paper on Ethnomedical practices- a study among the Kolam
tribes od Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh. In a National Seminar on Issues
and chamlges in Tibal areas Organised by Dept. of Anthropology,
University of Hyderabad under UGC SAP programme in collaboration with
anthropological Survey of India Kolkatta.

Awardee of ICSSR Doctoral fellowship 2011-12.
