Invitation - Society of Applied Anthropology Meetings in Cincinnati next Spring

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) is holding their 83rd Annual Meetings in Cincinnati next spring (March 28-April 1, 2023, https://www.appliedanthro.org/annual-meeting). I am on the planning committee and looking for local interest content for the first day of the conference (Tuesday March 28).
The SfAA welcomes both academics and practitioners in all fields of anthropology (and even sociology!!!) to present and discuss how they apply anthropology (or sociology) to solve real world problems.
The first day of the conference is set aside for locally themed presentations.
The conference is practitioner and student friendly and usually has about 2,500 people in attendance - it is an international conference with many participants from all over the US and abroad!
As far as professional conferences go, it is not very expensive. If you register as a co-sponsor member (e.g., Society for Anthropological Sciences – I am part of this association), the full-registration is $225. If you register as a non-member, registration is $290. If you both register and join as a new member of the Society for Applied Anthropology, registration/membership is $320. If you have a student that is joining you, the registration fees are much lower (https://www.appliedanthro.org/meeting-registration). Once you register, you are free to attend the entire conference, which also includes a job fair, graduate school fair, and book fair as well as various receptions.
