Critical Thinking in a Contested World
In the present world, we face a politically, economically, and socially contested reality. Not only are ownership, leadership, and influence contested, but the very information we use to understand the world is under constant debate. In this world, people are often motivated by moral panics and symbolic threats based on fear of outsiders, others, and political opponents. In such a world, the need to critically examine information and motivation are increasingly important. Therefore, we would like to especially invite scholarship that examines that contested social world with a critical eye.
