We are excited to announce Gordon Gilbert as our featured poet for April.
Gordon is a longtime NYC west village writer who performs his poetry, songs and monologues at various spoken word events in the metropolitan area. He has written short stories and a play, Monologues from the Old Folks Home, which he has produced 8 times at various NYC venues.
Gordon also has hosted many poetry readings in NYC celebrating famous poets and writers (especially the beat generation), and for several years he has also held an annual reading in September called “Remembrances of 9/11.”
Following Gordon's reading will be the open mic, so put a poem (or two) in your pocket and come read with us!
