Fred Simpson is a New York based poet, songwriter, producer, and percussionist who has performed extensively in the metropolitan area. I had the pleasure of meeting Fred at Evie Ivy's venue Green Pavilion Poetry venue in Brooklyn several years ago. 

Fred's poetry speaks to the rhythm, soul, mystery, and love of life. Often accompanying himself, Fred presents a poet, musicologist persona of great insight, thoughtfulness, humor, and sincere humanity. It is a great privilege to have Fred open our 4th season at Boulevard Bards.

Following Fred will be the open mic.
