REMINDER: TONIGHT, March 30!
Please join us in welcoming Brooklyn poet Barbara Ann Branca to Ken Siegelman's Brooklyn Poetry Outreach!
Brooklyn-born Barbara Ann has read original works on National Public Radio and featured at Cornelia Street Café, Bowery Poetry Club, Parkside Lounge, Greenwich Village Bistro and on Long Island at libraries, cafes, the Huntington Poetry Barn, and Walt Whitman Birthplace where she took first place in LI Poetry Collective’s Super Poem Sunday 2010. Her work appears in Polarity eMagazine, Paumanok II (LI anthology), Grabbing the Apple (anthology), and the 25th Anniversary edition of Long Island Quarterly. As a science author and jazz singer, her poetry is creative nonfiction based on lifelong passions for music, heritage, and the environment.
Following Barbara will be the open mic, so put a poem in your pocket and join us for a wonderful evening of poetry.
Hope to see you there,
Anthony
