Hi
I'm doing my 2nd ebook (a Linux version -- the fist was Windows) and reused some code from it.

The first was written about six years ago so I expect some things have changed.

But I found, all of the code examples had these curious pink spaces in.
Like this: (screenshot)

I checked the Code editor options (for C++)  but I wonder if it's a non-breaking space which is defined with a similar colour in the Highlighting section.I also get it when pasting code directly from Visual Studio Code onto the Insert code screen. .

I am able to edit it out with Find but thought you might like to know about it. Is there someway to prevent it during pasting?

Hi David,

The colour is highlighting non-breaking spaces, as you say. It won't appear in the generated file. You can change the colour in Preferences, or turn highlighting off altogether via View | Text Highlighting.

Regards,

Julian
