Drop Caps - Number of character options

Hello,

I'm playing around a Drop Caps feature and maybe I'm not getting what means "number of character" option.

I've set a number to 3, but only first character getting capsed. Issue is that if sentence started with a dash (—) which is a punctuation to start a dialog, according to rules you need to make Drop Caps with first 3 characters (dash + space + first letter). But Jutoh is using only first dash no matter what. Just to explain

It's not a big issue, I can fix it in Epub directly, but maybe it's something I do not understand?

Hi Ihor,

I think the problem is that if Jutoh detects whitespace when applying drop caps styling to the first few letters, it will stop applying drop caps because of the assumption that only the first word should be considered. I'll have a think about it but I guess I should drop the assumption about only the first word being relevant (this allowed some flexibility if applying the same paragraph style to different paragraphs where the first word might be shorter than the number of characters actually specified).
