I am inserting photos and when I pull up the photos in Jutoh, some of them are sideways.

When I open the file where the photos are saved (outside Jutoh), all the photos are upright.

Is there a way to rotate a photo inside Jutoh?

Thanks,
Christine K.

It's been my experience that some applications will 'correct' the rotation of photos so you might not be seeing them as they are. When you view photos in Windows 11, is that in File Explorer? it should show them as they are. On the right-click menu and on the top bar  there are Rotate Left and Rotate Right commands which will fix the rotation for you.

Thanks for the tip, David! I don't have windows 11 yet but that's good to know once I get that. I fixed it by opening in Krita (the free version of photoshop - would highly recommend [with a donation to the Krita folks]). They looked upright in Krita too, but if I rotated one way and rotated them back to upright, they opened in Jutoh as upright. Go figure.

JPG images have a field EXIF:orientation.
My recent test with Jutoh 3.23.0 32-bit version seems to indicate that it does not use this data to orient the images as the orientation data specify.

for more information I'd recommend
