Mirror margins not working?

Perhaps I'm missing something as I get to the end of publishing a paperback to KDP.... but I'm not understanding mirror margins (or I have a setting which disables them).

I've set my margins according to Julian's suggestions in the Jutoh book - I have:

Left margin - 21.4

Right margin - 15.0

Top margin - 15.0

Bottom margin - 12.0

Mirror margins checked.

But when I view the book in LibreOffice it's not what I expect. I see:

- Right side pages having 21.4 on the inside (gutter side) (correct)

- BUT left side pages having 21.4 on the outside (not gutter side)

I'm expecting left pages to have the 21.4 margin at the inside (gutter)

Any thoughts on what could be happening?

I use 4 different Page Styles and I'm not sure if this affects the behaviour. (There's nowhere that I can find to specify mirror margins for individual Page Styles).

Hi Ron,

Perhaps you could send me your project or a sample so I can try to see
what's wrong.

You can set "Layout" to "Mirror margins" in a page style; if these
settings are disabled, the current configuration's settings will be used
instead.
