The two women said Johnston and his wife, Kelly Halverson, set up hidden cameras disguised as ordinary household objects to spy on them and take videos while they were bathing and undressed. The lawsuit was first reported by NBC5.

Michael Johnston, Audiotree founder and owner of Chicago venues Schubas Tavern and Lincoln Hall, has been accused of using cameras hidden throughout his home to take nude photos of his family nanny and their friend, according to a new report.

The next month, according to the allegations, the couple once again asked Jane to house-sit for them overnight. Jane alleges that as she was about to undress, she discovered a hidden camera disguised as a picture frame aimed at the bathtub. Court records say Jane searched the house and found two more hidden cameras, one in a bathroom disguised as an iPhone dock charger and another in the bedroom she was currently using.

The document states that Taylor used the multiple hidden cameras concealed throughout his residence to secretly produce visual depictions of nude minors, and that Taylor distributed the videos to Fogle.

Prosecutors said the Monroe County Sheriff's Office received information last July that Nicot had cameras hidden in a bathroom at his home. During a search of his home, police seized several devices and recovered "numerous" photos and videos depicting young boys and adult men nude.

The device looked like a charging cube, which is commonly used to charge electronics. After the woman took a closer look at the device she found a hidden camera, according to the news release. She dissembled the device and found there was a memory card inside of it.

The memory card contained nude footage of herself and others inside the bathroom of the home, according to the news release. The woman reported the incident to police and detectives conducted a search at Maltby's home. Detective found multiple electronic devices, including devices with electronic storage.

Michael Johnston, the co-founder of Chicago-based record label Audiotree and an owner of Chicago music venues Lincoln Hall and Schubas Tavern, has been accused of setting up hidden cameras in his home to capture nude images of a family nanny and her friend.

A subsequent housesitting job for the family led to Jane's reported discovery of a hidden camera disguised as a picture frame and aimed at the bathtub. Jane said she searched the house and found two more hidden cameras, one in a bathroom disguised as an iPhone dock charger and another in the bedroom she was using, according to the court documents.

According to court documents, law enforcement arrested Philip Sprenger after hidden cameras were found in a cabin he had rented for a relative, as well as her four friends, at the Keystone State Park campgrounds in Sand Springs.

The hidden cameras were reported to park rangers who then asked HSI agents and the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office to help assist the investigation. A search warrant was served at Sprenger's home that resulted in seizing multiple electronic devices.

The FBI this week criminally charged Stephen Nicot, a 60-year-old Greece resident, with production and possession of child pornography. In a criminal complaint, the FBI alleges that Nicot had hidden cameras in the bathroom of his home. He also is suspected of doing the same at a church in Holley, Orleans County, which has not been identified.

The Sheriff's Office searched Nicot's home and seized digital devices, including the one within the religious book on tapes, cellphones and a laptop,"A forensic review of the items seized recovered numerous photographs and videos depicting young boys and adult men nude," the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a news release. "Some of the videos depicted young boys and adult men showering.

An Airbnb I rented a few years ago had about a dozen cameras inside the home. The owner disclosed the cameras using a tiny font at the bottom of the listing. Now I read rental listings very carefully and ask these questions before I book:

If a home automation system controls the rental property, it's relatively easy to find cameras. Open the system controller's menu and look for anything mentioning cameras. Accordingly, you can scan the TV channels for anything suspicious. I found a lot of cameras in a vacation rental this way.

If you find an indoor surveillance camera that was not disclosed to you, pick up the phone and call the police. Tell them you have direct evidence that your landlord is spying on you inside your rental home without your knowledge or permission. Use this exact phrase.

California Penal Code Section 647(j)(3) PC involves the use of a hidden camera to record someone in a private area. A defendant would be guilty of this offense where the following elements are present:

Court records say the victim, who was an 11-year-old girl, told the school counselor that on Aug. 30, she had found a hidden camera inside her bedroom. She added that the cameras were found in places that would capture them in a private setting and in various states of nudity.

Candid Camera is an American hidden camera reality television series. Versions of the show appeared on television from 1948 until 2014. Originally created and produced by Allen Funt, it often featured practical jokes, and initially began on radio as The Candid Microphone on June 28, 1947.

The show involved concealed cameras filming ordinary people being confronted with unusual situations, sometimes involving trick props, such as a desk with drawers that pop open when one is closed or a car with a hidden extra gas tank. When the joke was revealed, victims were told the show's catchphrase, "Smile, you're on Candid Camera." The catchphrase became a song with music and lyrics by Sid Ramin.

In one episode, the show filmed the reactions of citizens after they saw the former President Harry S. Truman walking down the street. After being advised that the former president and his Secret Service entourage would be taking a walk in downtown Manhattan, the program tracked them with a hidden camera in a van. A young woman who was a champion runner was planted at a street corner they would pass, and she was asking directions from a passerby when she saw Truman and shouted hello. In a stunt suggestive of the classic radio play The Hitchhiker, she then ran around the block so she could be ahead of Truman and was at the next corner where she again said hello to him as he approached. After this was done several times, she asked President Truman if something seemed familiar. The former president replied he expected she had something to do with the van that had been following him, and pointed straight into the camera with his walking stick without turning to look.

A wave of other American hidden-camera prank shows began in the 1980s: Totally Hidden Video was shown on Fox from 1989 until 1992. MTV's Ashton Kutcher vehicle, Punk'd, devised elaborate pranks on celebrities. Some shows have been criticized because of the potential cruelty inherent in the pranks, such as Scare Tactics. Oblivious was a series which gave cash prizes to unsuspecting subjects in the street who answered trivia questions but did not realize they were on a game show. More recent prank shows have been Girls Behaving Badly, Just for Laughs: Gags,[14] The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Boiling Points, Trigger Happy TV, and Howie Do It. Perhaps the most ambitious of all was The Joe Schmo Show in which Matt Kennedy Gould was surrounded by actors and hoaxed for the entire series.

Authorities said Taylor secretly filmed 12 minors as they were nude, changing clothes, or engaged in other activities using hidden cameras in his Indianapolis-area residences to produce child pornography. He has agreed to plead guilty to child exploitation and child pornography charges.

I own Fuji X-E1 about 4 or 5 months. I don't want to say it is perfect, no camera is, but I am happy to take photos with it and I still can say I don't miss the full frame Nikon DSLR anymore... I mostly use it indoor for portraits & nude art photos and with those great Fuji XF lenses it gives me almost everything I need. No, everything I need, we just always want more :) Here is my article about the reasons of my movement to Fuji - Why I left Nikon for Fuji X

I recently bought an X-E1 just before leaving for home . I did not have time to try it out but examining it on the flight home I have to say I had some regrets. The build quality of the camera is not good. It's OK and nothing falling apart or anything but it feels like a cheaper variety of plastic. Having taken a few shots though it does seem as though image quality compensates for the build quality. Here are 1:1 crops of a picture taken from the same position on an X-E1, GX7 and an M240. ...
