ANNOUNCING... THE NEW PALO VERDE ORGANIC GARDEN –SECOND LOCATION

Due to requests to expand the existing garden for the last several years and great interest in securing more garden plots for our residents, Palo Verde was finally approved by campus to expand our garden to a new location in Palo Verde. The current Palo Verde Organic Garden is located near the 8200 building and the new expanded location is nestled between the 2200 and 5200 buildings (not far from the PV Clubhouse).

TOMORROW-SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH

We need your help. The garden fence is up, but we need to finish trenching for the waterlines and to finish removing the dead ice plants that formerly occupied this space. Stop by, help out, grab some free snacks, say hello to the PV Organic Garden Officers, share your gardening wisdom, or just re-connect with the soil. Everyone is welcome – including friends and family and any workers you can recruit.

You do not need to have interest in a garden plot to stop by or lend your strength in helping us complete this Palo Verde Community Project. Come meet your neighbors. Interested in a garden plot? PV Organic Garden Officers will be there to answer any of your questions.  If you can only offer ten minutes of your time or if you want to share your day, any amount of your time and strength is welcome and you will help us keep the forward momentum. We need everyone’s help. We hope to see you on Saturday.
