Hi,

I have just installed AntMover in my mac (Sierra), and even though I select the .zip file to install it and I see the icon, the program does not start when I double click it.
I have also recently downloaded AntGram and it works perfectly.

What can I do?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

On a Mac try one of the following:

a) Put the AntMover folder in a folder on the desktop called "test". See if it runs there.
a) Put the AntMover folder in the Applications folder. See if it runs there.

Regards,

Laurence.

Dear Anthony,

Thank you very much for your quick response and I am sorry to bother you again: I have tried both ways (put AntMover folder in "test" folder on desktop, and also in the application folder) but the program does not run. I now I get a message saying "AntMover can't be opened".
Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you so much for your help.

Noelia

Dear Noelia,

Is this an improvement on before? In other words, before, did you not get any error and now you get the error? Or, is the error still the same?

Laurence.

Hi,

Before trying your suggestions, I did not get any messages, and once I moved the AntMover folder into the applications folder, then I got that message.

Thank you.

Noelia

Hi again,

Your write:

"I have tried both ways (put AntMover folder in "test" folder on desktop, and also in the application folder) but the program does not run."
"I now I get a message saying "AntMover can't be opened".

Do you get the error message for both ways? If not, which one produces the error?

Laurence.

Dear Anthony,
I have the same problem. I tried both ways. Nothing pops up, even an error message.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.

Dear Anthony,

Sorry to bother you.
It seems that I encountered the same problem in this discussion. I tried the two approaches you mentioned above but have not fixed this problem.
When I double clicked Antmover and tried to open it, it appeared for one second in the Dock and I cannot see its interface. Then it was closed.
The System I am using is macOS Monterey 12.1.

Thanks!
I am looking forward to your reply!
Kind regards,
Yanan
