Hi

when I'm going to run the AntConc this error comes up.

"unhandled exception in script"

I installed the recommended version an also tried the portable file.

but no differences. again the same error.

Which version of Windows are you using? It needs to be a 64-bit system.

It's 64-bit Windows 10.

Hi,

This is the first time to see this error from anybody on a Windows 10 64-bit system (the system I use myself to build the software).

Can you confirm that this is a fully-paid licensed version of Windows. Also, is there anything special about your computer (e.g. It's a borrowed computer from your IT center and you don't have full rights on it).

Can you also try the development version here:

https://www.laurenceanthony.net/software/antconc/releases/development_versions/

This is a serious error that I would like to fix. 

If anybody else experiences the same error, please do post a message, too.

Hello again.

Dear Laurence

Sadly, here in Iran we don't have the access to pay and buy the license for Windows. But I'm afraid this error has nothing to do with the license of my windows. I think it is some kind of executive error and I'm trying to fix it. I'll try with another device and see if it works.

If you are using an unofficial/unlicensed version of Windows, it will be very difficult for me to identify the problem. As I wrote, I haven't heard of similar problems from others, so I suspect it is a problem with your system. Let me know what you find out.
