Using AntConc with the Cyrillic alphabet

Hi, I'm new to AntConc and wish to use it with the Cyrillic alphabet. I tried the methods described in relation to the posting on the Russian alphabet - encoding UTF-8. It wouldn't work,as you can see below. What Global settings do I have to choose to make it work?

Hi,

Did you set the *character encoding* in AntConc to UTF-8? (Note that fonts having nothing to do with encodings, so I'm not sure why you sent a screenshot of the font settings page).

Also, the new development version of AntConc does auto-encoding detection, so you might want to try that. It has lots of new features, too.

Actually it worked when I saved the file in Notepad  with Save as and changed the Encoding from ANSI to   Encoding UTF-8 and then uploaded it into AntConc. Thanks for the help!
