Hi Anthony,
i am doing keyword analysis using AntConc 4.3.1. I tagged my data by Tagant. then I use antconc to compare one corpus against another and i want the list based on lemma. the problem is when I upload my target corpus by open corpus manager and choose Simple word POS  headword indexer. then i want to upload the reference corpus, the target corpus deleted and it overwritten on it and when i start with the reference corpus, and upload the target corpus, the target corpus delete the reference corpus. can you help me solve the problem please. both corpora are my data not prebuilt. Thank you

Hi Nada,

Creating a corpus in the corpus manager is completely separate from deciding if it will be used as a target or reference corpus. After you create your corpus, go to the library tab where you can see all the corpus you have created. You can then select it there. If you download the AntConc 4.4 beta version, you'll see that I've updated the corpus manager making things much clearer. Perhaps you can try that instead.

Laurence.

Hi Nada,

You can choose the display type in the tool settings.

Hi,
I'm not sure what you are doing but it works fine here. Perhaps you can refer to the following screenshot using the attached files:

I hope that helps.

Hi Anthony,
I really appreciate your time. it works finally but the problem was in loading targt and reference corpus in corpus manager. what a phd lecturer finds in solving the problem is when loading first target corpus in open corpus manager and change the indexing to simple word POS headword indexer and then choose the reference corpus and in order to avoid overwriting the target corpus, we change the name at the top to any name such as reference. in this case both corpora will be saved and created choosing  simple word POS headword indexer. when i load my corpus and then go the the library i cannot view display by headword.

Hi,
I don't really understand what you're saying in this message, but it seems that you have resolved the problem, which is great!

Laurence.
