AntFileConverter: A super simple freeware PDF to text converter

To all AntConc users,

I've just released a new super simple freeware PDF to text converter. The text files it produces can be used directly in software like AntConc. Remember that PDF to text conversion is always a little hit and miss and the tool will not always produce perfect results.

Dear Laurence,

Thank you for AntFileConverter 1.0. It really works very very fast, and I will use it for my pdf to txt conversion processes.

One of the best features of the application is that it doesn’t require an installation like other applications of yours.

One thing to ask, do you plan to add OCR function to the application in the next releases?

Hi Umut,

Glad to hear that the tool is working nicely for you. I haven't thought how to develop this further but like with my other tools, I'm certainly welcome to requests. Adding an OCR function? Interesting. Let me see how easy it would be.

Yes, I just need to find a couple of hours or so to get around to do it. Compiling things on Macintosh is always a little messy. I'll announce it here when it's done.
