Quotation marks around each line

Hello,

I have a remote SQL database which I have downloaded as a CSV file. There is a single column. When I view it in AntConc, each row has been surrounded by quotation marks ( " ).

I have a different CSV file that does not have these marks around each row.

What is the source of these marks and how can I remove them from the database they have been added to (or add them to a database that does not include them)?

My guess is that the tool you used to download the SQL database added the quotation marks. AntConc doesn't add any information to files, so it must have been there from the start. I suggest you open the csv file that you loaded into AntConc with a text editor and check what the format looks like.

I'm also not clear why you are trying to add a database table to AntConc. Are you trying to load a word list file?
