Regarding Penn Treebank tagset list

Hello, Mr. Laurence

I am Hiroki Tomita at Okayama University. I would like to ask a question about Penn Treebank tagset list. In a discussion group some years ago, you said this (https://www.laurenceanthony.net/software/tagant/resources/treetagger_tagset.pdf) is a Penn Treebank tagset list. However, I think this is different from the new version of Penn Treebank tagset used in the tag ant . (e.g. pp→prp). Can I download the new version somewhere? I would appreciate it if you could answer the question.

Hi Hiroki,

The old version of TagAnt was based on TreeTagger which used the Penn Treebank tagset. However, more recent versions have been using the SpaCy tagging engine, which uses different tagsets depending on the language. You can download the tagset for each language from the Help menu.
