Tagset of TagAnt

Hi Laurence,

I introduced TagAnt to my studnets birefly during the follow-up workshop. Many were interested and had tried it. As TagAnt uses a different tagset from the BNC corpus, I think students sometimes will be confused when they try to use the tags that they learnd from the BNCweb in AntConc. Could you put a tag list following the TagAnt versions? When students download TagAnt, they can see the tag list immediately and download it together with TagAnt.

The tagset is listed directly on the TagAnt homepage:

Does it need to be clearer than that?

(I also intend to add a link in the next embedded help page).

Note that the TagAnt tagset (Penn Treebank) is actually much more standard than the one used for the BNC (CLAWS). I think people should probably get used to the Penn Treebank tagset first.

Many thanks for this. I didn't find the tag list the first time during the workshop. After you added "58 tags", it is easier to spot the files.
