AntConc 4.1 crashes when I try to upload a corpus with 2.000 abstracts

Hi,

I am having problems uploading a corpus I compiled with AntCorGen. 

AntConc 4.1 crashes. 

I have a MAC.

Sorry for the late reply. I have been away at conferences through July.

When you say that AntConc crashes, does it simply disappear without showing any errors? I suggest you try with *one* of your files first. If you can get that to work, you can probably then get all 2000 files to work.

Hi Ana,

Just a quick follow up. In AntConc 4.1, I was informed of a bug that caused the program to crash when creating a corpus via the File->Open files as Quick Corpus option. Were you trying to use this? I've now fixed the bug, so if you download the latest version 4.1.1 it should work fine.
