Inquiry on MacOS compatibility

Good morning from Spain, Anthony.

I’m trying to start working with AntConc, but I can’t get the application to work on my laptop. According to the instructions, I should be able to click on “File” to upload the documents, but that option doesn’t appear. I’m using macOS Monterey 12.6.9 and have downloaded AntConc version 4.3.1. Unfortunately, I can’t upload any files.

Could you please advise me on what I should do?

Hello, everyone!

I have the same problem. After downloading and opening AntConc on my Mac, I found that the software doesn’t have a button to upload files, so I can’t use it. You can see the screenshot I attached below.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you very much,

Hi Isabel and Lu,

You are both on a Mac, which positions the menu bar of each app at the very top of the display rather than in the app window itself. Look at the top of your display and you'll see the menu bar there. This is standard on all apps on all Mac computers since the earliest days of Macintosh.
