Dear all,

I am currently trying to understand the total word count within my corpus on Antconc version 4.4.0

Where do  I find the number to report? Is it under Total Frequencies? And what to the numbers before and after the slash mean?

All the best.

Hi Michaela,

I would recommend that you update to the latest version of AntConc first. Assuming you are using the Word list tool, the total types and total frequencies appear at the top of the screen. The number before the slash is the number being displayed after filtering. So, below, the number of types is 47774 after filtering out punctuation, and 47838 when they are added:

Hi CK,

Thank you for announcing the paper. It's a great honor for my paper to appear in the first issue of your new APALCE journal. It's great that the articles are Open Access, too.

Laurence.
