Dear Prof.  Laurence Anthony,

I want to use "word" tool to receive the normalized frequency of all inclinations of "emigra*". I have a lemmatized corpus, but still words like "emigrate", "emigration" and "emigrant" are of a different lemma, meaning they still appear separately. However, I want to see the normalized frequency of all of them together, and not separately, because I am interested in emigration as one social phenomena in my corpus.

Is there a way to do it, without calculate it manually? I did not find one, but I am still very new to this -helpful and straight-forward- software.

Would appreciate any help.
All the best, and many many thanks.
Shir

Why not select the RegEx option and use a pipe? emigrate|emigration|emigrant

Hi Troy,
Thank you for the response and my apologies for the late reply.
Yes, indeed I used Regex. However, the normalized frequency is still given to each (emigrate - emigration - etc) separately, while what I am looking for is a somewhat one and "combined" normalized frequency for all.
Thanks again,
Shir
