Hi all,
I am encountering a problem with tagged corpora (attached).
In theory, under Global Settings I should be able to switch between Type and POS views so as to hide the tags, but I only get the Type option.
Is my file corrupted or can you spot any other mistake?

Thanks

Hi Gabriel,

If only the Type option is displayed, it suggests that you didn't load the corpus as a tagged corpus. Try loading the corpus again through the Corpus Manager being careful to select the simple_word_pos_headword indexer option. Here's what you should see if you load it correctly:

I hope that helps!

Great!!

This is why I really like this discussion group. I imagine others might run into the same issue, and they can search and find this solution!

Regards,
Laurence.

hi,
i am doing the KWIC of a list of words (KWIC, adv search) on a corpus made of 36 chapters.
if i put in the list 1 word, and then choose sort none, i get the natural order - from 1st chapter to 36th.
if i put in the list 2 or more words, choosing
"sort none" doesn't give the natural order but a mixed, not understandable order

while instead one expects that in every case if one chooses "sort none", the order should be the natural one

Hi,

The "no sort" option means that the results will appear however they were stored in the database, which can be unpredictable. If you want to sort by the file ID, just choose that as the first sort option.

Regards,

Laurence.
