AntConc not working on macOS Sequoia 15.4 – any timeline for a fix?

Is there any timeline for a fix for the issue on macOS Sequoia 15.4? At the moment, I’m unable to use AntConc, and unfortunately, downgrading to 15.3 isn’t an option for me.

I have the same question. I saw the note on the AntConc homepage, and have been using v3.5.9 since the upgrade.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for taking so long to address the issue. I ended up having to completely rebuild AntConc on MacOS using the latest version of Python and all its associated libraries. This seems to hvae fixed the issue. If you download AntConc 3.5.1 now, it should work on all versions of MacOS, including Sequoia.

I have downloaded the newest app with my MacBook, which version is MacOS 15.5

It works, I can use it with my laptop. Thanks for your effort to fix this problem

Sorry it took so long to fix the problem. One reason for the delay was because my own MacOS Sequoia machine broke!
