Stop words

Hello Laurence!

I have come across a problem while trying to integrate stop words in to my corpus in AntConc. It appears that the stop word list only removes a few of the occuring words from the list in my corpus, while some are still there. Do you know if there is something I can do to work through this issue? It should be said that it is a rather large corpus.

Hi Anton,

I would suggest you start with a very small corpus (e.g. one file) and see what happens when you try to apply a stop list. If there is a problem there, I can take a look at that file and your wordlist to work out the possible problem. You may also identify a mistaken action when you do this.
