That's great. Could I suggest that the field name be "Type specimen repository"?

Will that let everyone understand that it's supposed to contain the catalog number, too?

Mark, Is there enough room to say: Type Specimen Repository and ID Number(s)?

There's room. Is that the final decision?

How about "Type Specimen Repository and Specimen Code"?
Should point out that many types don't (yet) have specimen codes.

In that case, it seems to me that there should be two fields: Type Specimen Repository and Type Specimen Code. Perhaps the repository can be left blank if inferable from the code.

Those names work for me.  "Make it so."

Often the specimen code will not indicate the repository (e.g, CASENT number), so I think the
repository field should always be filled out separately.

Also, when there are syntypes, there may be multiple repositories, and multiple specimen codes.
