Hi guys, I'm new to Ant Media Server and I'm trying to publish & consume rtmp from AMS cluster - it doesn't wotk for me.
My test is as follow:
I have 2 AMS servers configured as cluster.
I publish rtmp stream to server A and trying to consume it from server B (with ffplay).
That doesn't work for me.

Notes:
* It works if I try to consume from server B with webrtc.
* It works if I try to consume it as rtmp from server A.

Does anyone know if it should work? Does anyone succeeded to do it?

Thanks
Yossi

Hi Yossi,
Ant Media Server can ingest RTMP and that RTMP stream can be watched through edge servers with HLS, WebRTC, CMAF but it cannot be played with RTMP from edge servers as it is not supported. You can play it from the same origin node if you want.
It's not supported because RTMP playback is dying or already dead. We provide several other options to playback in the cluster. CMAF(3-5 secs), HLS(8-12 secs), WebRTC(<0.5 secs).

Regards,
Yash
